Surrounding the tiny state of Goa is the Uttar Kannada district of Karnataka, which is covered by one of India's Largest, untouched natural forests, with innumerable hills and valleys and perennial rivers.
Kali River Lodge at Dandeli, a unit of Jungle Lodges and Resorts situated on the banks of River Kali, provides the gateway to adventure and forms the base for all activities. We offer the exclusive adventure programmed white water rafting through foreign experts and imported hi-tech equipment.

Day 1: Journey by road out of Goa to your overnight accommodation at this idyllic award winning eco-tourism wilderness camp in Karnataka, home to bison, samba, deer, black panther, leopard, elephant, tiger etc. After lunch we take you on a coracle ride on the beautiful Kali River has we go in search of crocodiles & bird life along the riverbanks. Late afternoon we leave on a jeep safari (animal sighting cannot be guaranteed). Back at camp after dinner a chance to get to know your fellow travelers around the bonfire.

Day 2: After breakfast, experience the thrill of white water rafting through rugged forested terrain, operated by a team of experts to highest international standard, using imported hi-tech equipment (accompanied nature walk to the local village for the non rafters). Everyone meeting back at camp for lunch, then regrettably mid afternoon we start our return journey back to Goa.

Food at camp is a delicious spread of veg/non veg Continental, Chinese and Indian Cuisine, served at a gazebo, known locally as Gol Char (open-to-sides).

INCLUDES: return transport, en-suite tented accommodation for one night stay, dinner, breakfast, two lunches, rafting, coracle ride, and jeep trips.

DOES NOT INCLUDE: any mineral water, soft drinks or alcoholic beverages consumed by the guest at the camp, these will be charged directly to the clients).
