For the last couple of years many of you have conveyed to us that you want a day tour which gives you a feel of Goa and also allows you to interact with elephants "all in one day" (no overnight stay). So this year we offer you

ALL in ONE DAY main highlights: local village visit/tour of spice plantation & elephants (full day tour).

Drive into a small village in an area of Goa untouched by tourism to get a glimpse into the traditional life of the villagers. It's an opportunity for the men to visit the barber for "a close shave". Taste the local snacks and 'CHAI' (tea) at the local café and get a brief introduction into the Hindu religion at a village temple.

On the way to our lunch stop at the spice plantation we call in at a cashew processing unit to gain first hand knowledge of the process (this visit may be seasonal and will not available on public holidays). Freshly processed nuts are on sale.

After an informative guided walking tour of the plantation we proceed to the elephants (have your camera ready). Everyone can photograph and buy food to feed the elephants but only those of you taking the optional extra part of this tour will be able to ride and wash the elephant (this should be paid for and confirmed at the time of booking).
Info. For persons washing elephant: Please bring a change of clothes for the return journey. Sometimes the elephant decides to give a Jumbo powered shower.
 

Includes: tea & snacks at the village, lunch food at the plantation, photo stop for elephants & services of our own guide.

Does not include: drinks or items of a personal nature

Price  £15 per person  RS.1,120  excluding riding and washing elephant
Child up to 11yrs  £8   RS.600.

Price £26.75 per person  including riding and washing elephant.
Child up to 11yrs £18.75.
